This typically happens from trying to hold your QR code too close to the scanner. The scanner can actually read the code from up to 2 feet away so a good distance is approximately 6-12 inches away from the scanner. Try pivoting the phone at multiple angles from that distance. If it is still not reading it we recommend adjusting the brightness on your phone either up or down. Note: If the scanner appears to read the qr code by flashing & giving 2 quick beeps, this means that the QR code that you are providing is for a different cryptocurrency than the one it’s expecting. For example, if you’re trying to buy Bitcoin, make sure you’re displaying a Bitcoin QR code & not a Litecoin, Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash address.
